2015 Lemberger trocken Der rote Löwe, Württemberg, Germany

Trt nose, hint of bacon, dried herbs and earthy notes, predominantly black berries and a few cherries, dried floral notes, licorice and pepper. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved fruit on the palate, spicy, peppery oak and some chocolate, some nut butter, fine sandy tannins, good substance and persistence, full body, noticeable warm alcoho, very slightly jammy notes, more licorice on a good to very good finish.
