2020 Frühburgunder trocken "Wörther & Grosswallstadter Ortswein vom roten Stein", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly herbal, smoky and moderately peppery-spicy nose of ripe black and some red berries with dried mushroom nuances. Cool, tart, relatively polished fruit, some bite and quite fine, youthful tannin, very slightly smoky and again also mushroomy notes on the palate, good persistence, hints of dark ethereal spice, very good, polished, fresh-juicy finish with bite.
