2018 Großwallstadt Chardonnay Ortswein trocken "Kirchenstück", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clearly herbal as well as delicately smoky and nutty aroma with citrus aromas, some pome fruit and mushroomy traces. Powerful and quite juicy in the mouth, lively acidity and some grip, also a little carbonic acid, nutty flavours, a breath butter and caramel, herbal-vegetable tones in the background, noticeable alcohol, good to very good finish. Should still mature a little
