2018 Frühburgunder trocken "Wörther & Grosswallstadter Ortswein vom roten Stein", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat smoky, toasty, woody aroma of ripe red and a little black berries with hints of cherry and spicy tones. Clear, straight, quite juicy fruit, again smoky to toasty and spicy wood flavours, fine sandy tannin, dry herbal notes in the background, a hint of salt, good is very good, slightly sandy finish
