2017 Frühburgunder trocken "Wörther & Grosswallstadter Ortswein vom roten Stein", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light dried vegetal, herbaceous and floral notes on the nose, red and a few black berries, peppery traces in the background. Fairly firm, ripe, predominantly red fruit on the palate, light toasted, nutty, spicy oak, light acid bite, fine youthful tannins, good persistence, medium body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, smoky and light earthy notes on a good to very good, slightly alcoholic finish.
