2016 Klingenberg Schloßberg Spätburgunder trocken "16*26", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light dried herbs and spices on the nose, hint of tobacco, red and a few black berries, moderate oak, hint of dried mushrooms. Firm, fairly juicy ripe fruit on the palate, smoky, toasted oak, hint of bacon, light spicy notes, more dried mushrooms and some herbs in the background, integrated sandy tannins, full body, noticeable warm alcohol, good persistence, salty notes in the background, some fresh elements, ethereal notes on a good to very good, juicy, spicy oaky finish.
