2021 Wagram DAC Ried Zeisleiten Grüner Veltliner trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Tart, herbal to slightly peppery nose with bright, rather cool yellow fruity notes. Slightly sweet-melting, again bright, relatively juicy fruit, fine herbal-herbal spiciness and a little white pepper, good persistence, cool and warm elements, mineral nuances, hints of yellow spiciness in the background, delicately nutty, salty minerality, a hint of smoke, good to very good finish. Has developed very well.

Editor note: Rather tart, still very slightly yeasty aroma with bright yellow fruity aromas, planty tones and hints of white pepper. Ripe fruit with yeasty, delicately peppery and also mineral spice, relatively lively acidity, still very slightly muted on the palate, some tannin, good persistence, a hint of sweet melting, but also grip, smoky traces, good to very good finish with some warmth.
