The winery is located in the municipality of Perchtoldsdorf in the Lower Austrian wine growing region of Thermenregion. It is managed by Georg Nigl, who has gained a lot of practical experience during numerous wine study trips to Australia, South Africa and France (Bordeaux). These are brought into the vinification of the wines with the company motto "Working in and with nature with respect for traditions". A Buschenschank on the Kunigundberg is attached. The vineyards comprise six hectares of vineyards in the Goldbiegel, Herzogberg, Haspel, Lindberg and Weißer Stein sites with a wide variety of soil types typical for the region. The white wine varieties Gelber Muskateller, Grüner Veltliner, Sauvignon Blanc and Gemischter Satz (with vines over 50 years old) are cultivated, as well as the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinot Noir. The natural cultivation is carried out according to the rules of organic viticulture with the aim of sustainability. This includes humus management and the complete renunciation of synthetic mineral fertilizers. The extensive care of the vines, which are grown in close cultivation in rooted soils, is carried out by hand

The quality-enhancing, reduced-yield grape material is processed gently. During vinification, no special yeasts, enzymes or other additives are used for colour or structure. A non-invasive principle is applied, with as few interventions in the cellar as possible and the renunciation of modern vinification methods. The use of sulphur and methods such as fining and filtration is only carried out to the extent absolutely necessary and is avoided wherever possible. The red wines, but also the white wines, are mash-fermented exclusively spontaneously with the vineyard's own yeasts in order to leach the tannins from the grape skins with long standing times. This results in terroir- and vintage-typical wines with a long life span and distinctive aromas. This is described with the winery specific designation "natural wines with fingerprint". Premium wines include "Gemischter Satz Alte Reben Weißer Stein" and "Grüner Veltlioner Herzogberg" and "Pinot Noir Haspel". A sparkling wine "Nizzante", grape brandy and nut brandy are also produced.
