2018 Hallgarten Jungfer Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Rheingau, Germany

Firm and deep, still youthful, yeasty, somewhat dried floral and herbaceous scent of ripe yellow fruits with a little yellow-spicy to woody tones. Rather juicy, yet dry, pure, ripe fruit, very fine acidity and some grip, yeasty nuances, slightly dried floral and herbal, hinted yellow spice, good substance and persistence, some depth, quite compact structure, nutty tones in the background, clear, relatively dark minerality, very good, firm, juicy and handy finish. Currently in impressive early form
