2016 Hattenheim Wisselbrunnen Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Light vegetal and yeasty notes on the nose, hint of bacon and yellow spice, partly dried yellow fruit, floral and herbaceous notes, some iodine, earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, sweetish fruit on the palate, some sugar candy, yellow spice, floral and vegetal aromas, very elegant, lively acidity, moderate tannic grip, persistent, hint of red berries, delicate oily traces, firm contours, dried herbs, mushrooms and algae, very good long, fresh, delicately sweet, juicy finish. Needs time to mature.
