2021 Forst Pechstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Cool, somewhat herbaceous and still a hint of yeasty citrus stone fruit scent with hints of smoky nuances, a hint of mushrooms, marzipan and mineral hints. Ripe, juicy, sweetish fruit, very fine acidity, smoky and nutty-hearty hints, quite clearly marzipan, candy tones, some smoke, moderate grip of very ripe tannin, some dark spice in the background, clear minerality, certain power and depth, shows origin, very good, firm, slightly sweetish-juicy finish with grip, minerality and again smoky hints.
