2016 Forst Riesling trocken Basalt, VDP. Ortswein, Pfalz, Germany

Nose still slightly muted, partly candied yellow fruit, vegetal aromas, wilted flowers, earthy and mineral notes. Firm, restrained fruit on the palate, vegetal and earthy notes, elegant, lively acidity, light grip, hint of dark berries, some dark, spicy mineral notes, hint of sugar candy, good grip, fairly prominent lime and grapefruit aromas, some hard peaches, still young, salty traces, very good, slightly astringent finish.
