2016 Forst Pechstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Cool nose, still reductive, fairly prominent mineral notes, herbaceous, vegetal and light dried floral notes, ripe yellow fruit ,yeasty notes, elderflowers and a hint of dark berries. Juicy, ripe, firm fruit on the palate, quite grippy, lively acidity, prominent but integrated tannins, light flinty and yeasty notes, hint of black berries, very good substance and depth, mineral notes, are dark, like coal, spicy traces, hint of dried herbs, fairly complex, slightly sweetish, clearly shows its origin, very good firm, juicy finish.
