2011 Forst Ungeheuer Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Firm, slightly developed, herbal-vegetable citrus scent with stone fruit notes, some smoke, dark minerality and floral traces. Ripe, juicy, sweetish fruit with planty to herbal and smoky notes, lively, fine, ripe acidity, some grip from crumbly tannins, persistent on the palate, has power and firm structure, good depth, again rather dark minerality, tobacco nuances, certain warmth, very good, sweetish-juicy and mineral finish.
