Quite muted, clearly vegetal nose with yellow fruity notes, floral traces and a hint of saffron. Sweet-tart fruit with very present acidity, somewhat muted on the palate, vegetal flavours, salt in the background, also chalky tones, a little muted and rough, some persistence, good to very good, somewhat drying finish with minerality and almost cutting acidity. Not quite up to scratch anymore.

Editor note: Translate to English Kühle, angetrocknet-pflanzliche und einen Hauch getreidige Nase mit Zitrus- und Pfirsichnoten sowie erdigen und ganz leicht phenolischen Tönen. Dicht, fest und saftig im Mund, reife Frucht mit sehr feiner, lebhafter Säure und zart kräuterigen Noten, etwas Kandis und Hefe, deutliche Mineralik, viel Biss, aber auch Kraft und Schmelz, recht eigenständig, zitronige Töne, im sehr guten Abgang ein wenig süßlich.
