Editor note: Firm, deep and complex, somewhat vegetal, mushroomy, smoky and bacon aromas with yellow fruity aromas, nuts, tobacco, pepper and distinct minerality. Firmly knit, juicy, ripe fruit with smoky and nutty wood notes, some bacon, mushroom yellow spice, herbs and tobacco, persistent, lively acidity and plenty of grip from ripe, still very slightly drying tannins, has power, substance and depth, complex, still undeveloped, long, firm and complex, juicy, spicy and smoky finish with plenty of persistence. Needs to mature further.

The wine-growing region is located in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany.
