2019 Forst Pechstein Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Deeper and firmer, still a hint of reductive, clearly herbaceous-vegetal, somewhat yeasty and hinted floral scent of ripe, yet tart stone fruit with fine vegetable notes reminiscent of fresh celery, a little smoke, hinted black berries and dark earthy aromas. Ripe, concentrated, juicy, quite noble fruit, not completely dry, smoky and bacon tones, lively, ripe acidity and grip, present, fine herbal aromas, multi-layered, deep and persistent on the palate, has power and substance, very firm core, somewhat oily and pesto notes, much partly dark minerality, also a little dark fruit, clearly shows origin, compact structure, very good to long, dense, juicy, gripping finish
