Editor note: Translate to English Herber, etwas erdiger, pflanzlicher und eine Spur zwiebeliger Sauerkirschduft mit schwarzbeerigen Aromen, kräuterigen und auch ein wenig krautigen Tönen sowie leicht rauchigen Holzanklängen. Teils eingemacht wirkende, dunkle Frucht im Mund, rußiges und rauchiges Holz, etwas Kandis am Gaumen, ganz leicht krautige und zwiebelige Töne, präsentes, ein wenig trocknendes Tannin, Lakritz im Hintergrund, eine Spur Paprika, guter bis sehr guter, recht saftiger Abgang.

In 2016 a restructuring took place with partial changes in the designations and area boundaries. Central Burgenland was not affected by this, however; name and boundaries remained the same.
