Slightly nutty nose with moderate oak, partly preserved mixed berries and cherries, dried vegetal notes, prominent coffee notes and star anise. Fairly tart, juicy fruit on the palate, fairly prominent acid bite, toasted oak, hint of tobacco, fairly prominent, slightly sandy tannins provide grip, bacon and mineral notes in the ckground, dark spicy aromas, some depth, very good finish.
