Delicately aniseed-spiced and herbal aroma with polished, almost calm stone and pome fruit aromas, some black berries, citrus fruits, plums, minerality and hints of yeast. Ripe, tightly knit, juicy fruit with lively, fine acidity and grip, somewhat herbal, hints of floral and delicately yeasty on the palate, persistent and dense, clear, partly dark minerality, again a little black berries and especially plums, smoky nuances, quite complex, good depth, has tension, very good, firm, almost tart finish with juice, minerality, herbal spice and lots of grip.

Best to drink: Mitte 2023 bis 2032+. What our ratings mean
