2018 Muskat Ottonel, Pfalz, Germany

Quite firm, floral and herbal nose of partly candied yellow fruits with a little bergamot and a hint of lavender. Clear, polished, fine-juicy, sweet fruit with lively, fine acidity and the clear phenolic grip of the vintage, which gives the wine backbone, almondy-nutty hints, somewhat herbal-vegetal and floral, mineral in the background, good persistence, aromatic varietal bitters, very good, juicy, spicy and again quite grippy finish.
