2015 Schweigen Sonnenberg Pinot Noir trocken "Sankt Paul", Pfalz, Germany

Clear, firm nose, ripe mixed berries and cherries, peppery notes, moderate spicy oak, hint of tobacco and some chocolate. Clear, firm, cool,.tart, juicy fruit on the palate, some acid bite, fairly prominent, youthful, very fine tannins, hint of tobacco again, noticeable mineral notes in the background, very fresh style, concentrated, deep and persistent, still undeveloped, clear contours on a very good, firm, tart, juicy finish. Needs time to mature.
