2011 Sommerach Katzenkopf Silvaner Spätlese trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Slightly muted aroma of preserved pome and stone fruit with vegetal and earthy notes. Soft, sweetish fruit in the mouth, fine tart spice, some earthy minerality and nutty as well as peppery traces, fine acidity, a hint of wax on the palate, not too deep, very slightly drying, sweetish finish
