2017 Zell-Weierbach Neugesetz Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken "Marie", Baden, Germany

Firm, nutty aroma of mixed berries with slightly ethereal-spicy and tobacco aromas, some corn and malty nuances. Tart, undeveloped fruit with smoky and slightly bitter-chocolate aromas, dried-vegetable to tobacco tones, a little herbs and liquorice, some bite, youthful, fine-sandy tannin, clearly salt in the background, a little ethereal spice, good substance and persistence, vegetal and mushroomy nuances, quite clearly laurel, very good, again clearly bitter-chocolatey, even a little sooty finish.
