2019 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Ried Buch Sauvignon Blanc Grosse STK Ried trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm and quite deep, herbaceous-vegetable, quite fresh, still a hint of yeasty fragrance with white, yellow and green fruity aromas, nutty tones, hints of wood and a hint of smoke and bacon. Ripe, melting, yet firm, rather bright fruit, certain warmth, dried-vegetable, nutty and again smoky aromas, some grip of crumbly tannin, very fine acidity, persistent, has power, still young, certain depth, tart mineral hints, a touch of dark berries, very good, firm and again tart finish with notes reminiscent of fennel.
