2018 Vulkanland Steiermark DAC Straden Sauvignon Blanc trocken STK "Privat", Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Smoky and somewhat woody aroma with yellow fruit and dried planty to herbal aromas, currant leaves and hints of black berries. Firmly woven, tart fruit with fine acidity and grip of ripe gris, slightly smoky wood notes, again dried-vegetable and black berry nuances, good persistence, some depth, minerality in the background, still young, floral nuances, a hint of pepper, very good, again firm finish with tart juice and spice.
