2015 Vulkanland Steiermark Ried Rosenberg Sauvignon Blanc trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

Firm nose, still closed, prominent vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, restrained yellow and green fruit, smoky traces in the background. Full-bodied and juicy on the palate, ripe, fairly polished fruit, vegetal, yeasty and more light smoky notes, lively, elegant acidity, still has a touch of carbon dioxide, very creamy, good substance, high alcohol is very well integrated, hint of red berries, has some depth, good grip, still very young, touch of flintstone on a very good juicy, grippy finish with spicy vegetal notes.
