Clear, firm and quite deep aroma of ripe black and red berries with tones slightly reminiscent of rose hips, fine vegetal nuances reminiscent of beetroot, some dry herbs and a certain toastiness. Firmly knitted, juicy, relatively dark fruit, a little smoky-roasty wood, crumbly-sandy, youthful, pronounced, but with time getting finer tannins, persistent and quite dense on the palate, salt in the background, some bite, still barely developed, with air increasing depth, firm core, very good, firm finish with dark juice, dried-vegetable notes and toasty spice. Shows only on the third day as slowly as it can and still overtakes the first-class Kirchberg, which is slightly ahead at the beginning.
