2019 Oberbergen Bassgeige Weißburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken "Im Leh", Baden, Germany

Clear and quite deep, firm, rather cool nose with relatively bright yellow fruity and fine vegetal aromas, a little yeast, a hint of seaweed and mineral tones. Fine, polished, rather tightly knit, completely dry fruit, slightly smoky to toasty wood notes, nutty tones, a trace of mushrooms and hints of bacon, herbal nuances, persistent and dense, still undeveloped, mineral in the background, good depth, very good, tight, grippy and tangy-juicy finish. Must mature.
