Firm and quite deep, slightly nutty and a hint of smoky aroma of ripe mainly red berries with a hint of cherries, leather, a little liquorice as well as herbal, dried floral and peppery nuances. Very tightly knit, tart, still rather undeveloped fruit, nutty and very slightly cocoa-spicy wood notes, present, fine sandy tannin, some acidity bite, dense and persistent on the palate, still undeveloped, good depth, peppery notes, a hint of green bacon, some Mediterranean herbs, multi-layered, has grip, distinct mineral tones, very good to long, again decidedly firm finish. Needs to mature.
