2016 Spätburgunder Franz Anton, Baden, Germany

tart nose, light dried vegetal nose and a hint of tobacco, predominantly red and a few black berries, hint of mushrooms, cherries and earthy traces. Clear, cool, tart, polished, restrained fruit on the palate, touch of nutty oak, earthy notes, hint of mushrooms, fine sandy tannins, light acid bite, light salty notes, delicate bitter touch, some coffee grounds and cocoa, still rather closed, very good tart, slightly astringent finish.
