2016 Oberbergen Bassgeige Kähner Grauburgunder Grosses Gewächs, Baden, Germany

Tart nose, light njutty oak, hint of tobacco, restrained fresh yellow fruit, still has some yeasty aromas, vegetal notes, hint of bacon, mineral notes. Ripe, firm, juicy fruit on the palate, firm grip and an elegant bite, yeasty notes, aromas of partly candied nuty, persistent, quite concentrated, some depth, medium body, elegant vegetal notes in the background, light salty notes, spicy notes reminiscent of caraway and some cardamom, delicately sweetish and creamy, very good finish.
