2015 Oberrotweil Kirchberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs, Baden, Germany

Clear, straightforward nose, floral traces, red and a few black berries, nutty and earthy notes, some root vegetables and bacon. Ripe, polished, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, cool style, very fine silky tannins, moderate, smoky, spicy oak, fairly prominent dried tomatoes, persistent, mineral notes, hint of tobacco, good depth, some bit, still largely undeveloped, but already very approachable, salty notes and more moderate spicy oak on a very good elegant, juicy, cool finish.
