2015 Oberbergen Bassgeige Chardonnay Erste Lage, Baden, Germany

Fairly firm nose, light nutty and vegetal notes, pomaceous fruit and a hint of citrus, touch of smoky oak, light earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, polished, tart, juicy, elegant fruit on the palate, lively, elegant acidity, delicate smoky, nutty and yeasty notes, firm and persistent, still largely undeveloped, tart mineral notes in the background, firm bite and light grip, delicate herbaceous traces, very well balanced, very good finish. Still needs some time to mature.
