2014 Oberrotweil Eichberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Slightly developed, smoky and nutty aroma of black and red berries with herbal notes, a little coffee and dark chocolate, hint of tobacco and black olives. Clear, tart, juicy, slightly ripe fruit, smoky and restrained roasted wood notes, some tobacco and herbs, a certain acid bite, quite fine, quite present tannins, persistent on the palate, salt in the background, has a certain power, but also coolness, some depth, very good, taut, juicy and smoky-spicy finish with salt and dried herbs. In top form.
