2014 Oberrotweil Eichberg Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Baden, Germany

Fairly open nose, red berries and cherries, hint of black berries, light nutty notes and some tobacco, dried vegetal notes, bay leaf, peppery traces, very light spicy oak, earthy and mineral notes. Clear, tart, straightforward fruit on the palate, quite juicy, light nutty oak, smoky traces, firm youthful tannins, lively acidity, still has light yeasty notes, earthy and salty mineral notes, firm grip, persistent, hint of tobacco, firm structure, fairly cool style, more nutty and mineral notes on a very good, tart, juicy finish.
