2019 Dürkheim Michelsberg Pinot Noir Grosses Gewächs trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Woody and resinous nose of black and red berries with a bit of preserved cherries, pine needles, dried herbs and dried flowers. Partly preserved, somewhat smooth fruit, again resinous-woody notes, some sandy-drying tannin, some alcohol warmth, good persistence, herbal nuances, a little salt, ethereal notes, a little cocoa and coffee, good to very good finish with bite, resin and mineral tones.
