Editor note: Relatively cool, somewhat nutty, delicately mushroomy and dried herbal scent of ripe yellow fruits with a hint of asparagus, rhubarb and fennel. Rather bright fruit with a hint of raspberries, lively acidity, hints of citrus and mint, delicate tannin, good persistence, salty and chalky tones, good, very slightly muted finish with a little root vegetable.

Editor note: Delicate floral nose with bright yellow fruit and a little nutmeg aromas. Clear, straight, fine juicy, again bright fruit, delicate nutty and nutmeg flavours, very fine acidity, some grip, mineral hints, chalky-salty minerality in the background, good to very good finish

The province of Styria with its capital Graz is located in the south-east of Austria. In Austria, viticulture has been practised since the time of settlement by the Celts almost 3,000 years ago. The Burgenland municipality of Zagersdorf and the Lower Austrian municipality of Stillfried in the Weinviertel are considered the oldest wine-growing communities in Austria. In both places, grape seeds were found that date back to 700 and 900 BC respectively and can clearly be assigned to the species Vitis vinifera.
