2018 Südsteiermark DAC Ried Höchleit'n Riesling Reserve trocken, Styria/Steiermark, Austria

firm and quite deep, herbaceous-vegetable, somewhat nutty, hinted at yeasty and rather mineral fragrance with rather tart yellow-fruity aromas as well as mushroomy, vegetal and tobacco traces. Ripe, warm, melting, sweetish fruit with nutty and oily-spicy tones, some candy and herbal to tobacco tones, very fine acidity, lots of power and some alcohol warmth, very fine acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, lasting, good depth, quite complex, very good, firm, grippy, sweetish, at the same time tart-spicy, again also alcohol warm finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
