2017 Traminer Landwein trocken "MG", Steirerland, Austria

Light golden yellow. Quite firm, somewhat floral, nutty and ethereal-herbal aroma of ripe yellow fruits with slightly smoky and mushroomy hints. Ripe, firm, tart fruit with delicate melting and clear, smoky, bitter-tobacco and somewhat spicy wood aromas, moderate acidity, hints of coffee grounds and caramel, noticeable tannic grip and good persistence, somewhat salty minerality, has power and noticeable alcohol, slight varietal bitterness, very good, grippy and slightly heated, again somewhat bitter finish.
