2015 Welschriesling Landwein trocken O.S. Olé Bio, Weinland Austria, Austria

Murky gold colour. Firm nose, vegetal and yeasty notes, yellow spice, herbaceous notes, some yellow fruit, light nutty and yellow floral traces, touch of green olives, fresh mushrooms, undergrowth, parmesan, earthy and mineral notes. Quite firm again on the palate, ripe, juicy fruit, prominent vegetal notes, nutty and smoky notes, yellow spice, prominent integrated fine sandy tannins, some more parmesan, comes across as umami, herbaceous notes and yellow spice, full-bodied, deep, persistent, complex, still very young, hint of caramel and peanuts in the background, sauteed mushrooms, light tobacco, salty and juicy on a fairly long, grippy finish.
