2014 Blaufränkisch trocken Alte Reben, Burgenland, Austria

Tart, firm nose, light nutty, spicy oak, predominantly black berries, light dried floral aromas, touch of dried herbs, hint of bacon, earthy and mineral notes. Firm, tart, juicy fruit on the palate, fairly prominent fine tannins, noticeable acid bite, full-bodied, also has good grip and cool elements, persistent, good depth, prominent mineral notes, herbaceous aromas, still very young, concentrated and persistent, complex, light toasted notes, very good firm, juicy, spicy finish.
