2007 trocken Solitaire, Burgenland, Austria

Black berries and sour cherries on the nose, dried vegetal notes, cool earthy and mineral traces, light smoky notes. Quite full bodied on the palate, but also cool and tart, dark fruit, vegetal and earthy notes, some oak, fine sandy tannins, not particularly deep, noticeable alcohol, fairly prominent acidity, tart on an attractive finish.
