2006 Rust Chardonnay-Welschriesling Ausbruch süß Essenz, Burgenland, Austria

Nose still closed, but deep, candied and preserved yellow fruit, delicate herbs and spices, some floral notes, earthy and mineral notes. Creamy, almost oily and very sweet on the palate, fairly prominent elegant acidity, vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, concentrated, deep and persistent, but still totally undeveloped, still much too compact to show all its facets, elegant bite, deep with a very long finish. Definitely needs time to mature.
