2002 trocken 1008, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly mature nose, very ripe, partly preserved red and black berries, cherries and plums, dried vegetal and mineral notes in the background. Quite juicy on the palate, very ripe, jamy, partly dried fruit, fine sandy tannins, mineral traces, some spicy oak in the background, tobacco, very good persistence and has some depth, full-bodied, very good finish.

Editor note: Preserved mixed berries and cherries on the nose, herbs and spices, some mineral notes, wilted flowers and restrained spicy oak. Cool and juicy in the mouth, quite prominent mineral notes, lively fruit, fine sandy tannins, persistent on the palate, more herbaceous notes and wilted flowers, cery well integrated, restrained oak, very persistent on the palate, good depth, complex with a long finish. Combined power and finesse.
