2017 Leithaberg DAC Ried Haidsatz Pinot Blanc trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Light vegetal notes on the nose, hint of mushrooms and light nutty notes, pomaceous fruit aromas, buttery traces. Ripe, dry, partly candied fruit on the palate, nutty aromas, hint of mushrooms, concentrated and persistent, buttery aromas, moderate oak, full body, good persistence, still undeveloped, salty mineral notes in the background, fennel, umami and a hint of mushrooms, creamy, but valso grippy, mineral notes and more prominent fennel on a very good, firm finish.
