2015 Ried Johanneshöhe Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, polished nose, cherries and black berries, hint of tobacco, light oak and peppery notes, touch of juniper in the background. Clear, straightforward, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, integrated tannins, light acid bite, hint of tobacco and nutty oak, delicate spicy traces and some cocoa, fairly persistent, light peppery notes and juniper, good to very good finish.
