2014 Leithaberg DAC Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Clear, firm nose, nutty, spicy oak, cherries and black berries, dried herbs, very light peppery traces. Firm, tart and juicy on the palate, light peppery spice, integrated youthful tannins, very elegant acid bite, touch of carbon dioxide, persistent and concentrated, dried herbs, some juniper, hint of citrus zests in the baclground, fairly prominent mineral notes, still young, some grip, very good firm, juicy, elegant, spicy finish. Needs time to mature.
