2009 Leithaberg Pinot Noir trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Fairly tart nose, partly preserved red berries, some cassis and partly dried cherries, prominent herbs and spices, vegetal notes, delicate hint of bacon, light mineral traces in the background. Tart again on the palate, but quite juicy, fairly cool fruit, vegetal, earthy and mineral notes, some old oak, fine sandy tannins, salty touch, has some depth, very good finish.
