2007 Leithaberg Ried Stein trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Editor note: Tart nose, red and black berries, earthy and mineral notes, dried herbs and a hint of licorice. Firm, fairly cool and quite juicy on the palate, lively fruit, prominent mineral as well as more herbaceous notes, elegant acid bite, fairly mature, fine sandy tannins, quite persistent, harmonious, still has fairly prominent nutty oak, very good finish.
