2005 Leithaberg Ried Stein trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Translate to English Herber Duft nach schwarzen Beeren und ein wenig Kirschen mit leicht holzigen und erdigen Tönen, gewisser Mineralik, getrocknet-vegetabilen Aromen und ein wenig Tabak. Klare, geschliffene, herbe und eher kühl wirkende schwarze Frucht im Mund, feinsandiges, ganz leicht trocknendes Tannin, erdige Mineralik, gute Nachhaltigkeit am Gaumen, speckig-rauchige Nuancen, fester Bau, salzige Noten, guter bis sehr guter, wieder ziemlich herber, ganz leicht trocknender Abgang.

Editor note: Fairly cool nose, mixed berries and cherries, elegant herbaceous as well as mienral notes. Clear, straightforward style, elegant juicy fruit, integrated spicy oak on the palate, delicate coconut, polished but not particularly deep, light spicy oak on an attractive finish.
